Monogramming
Monogramming adds distinction to our fine comforter covers, sheets, towels and blankets. You can select from three styles of monogramming, and a wide range of thread colors.  To order a product with monogramming, please call 1-800-875-4144. If you have additional items you would like to purchase besides those you would like monogrammed, please place your entire order through a Scandia Down ® Customer Service representative at 1-800-875-4144. Please note that monogramming will add an extra 10 days to the date you can expect to receive your shipment. Due to their personalized nature monogrammed items are non-returnable.

Restoration
After years of enjoyment, your Scandia Down ® comforter, pillow or featherbed may need refreshing. Although the down inside lasts a lifetime, the outside ticking may have to be replaced or additional filling may need to be added to enhance loft. Whatever the issue, our expert technicians will do their best to restore your bedding to its original condition.

We can also make your down furnishings smaller or larger to fit a new bed. And should an accident occur, we can stitch most tears at minimal cost, or patch the fabric if appropriate.

Cleaning
Our down filled products should always be used with an additional covering such as a duvet cover for your comforter or a zippered pillow-cover beneath your pillow cases. We recommend that you go as long as you can without cleaning your down filled belongings. As a rule of thumb, your Scandia Down ® items will only need cleaning every two to four years, depending upon the habits of your household. You will want to clean your comforter covers and zippered pillow covers as often as necessary, of course.

When it is time for professional cleaning, simply place the item in its Scandia Down® cotton storage bag and send it to us. Our in-house experts will inspect it for wear and tear, and then clean it in our own laundry built exclusively for our fine products. It will be promptly returned to you, fresh as the day you first placed it on your bed.

Additional Care Tips
In between the professional care and cleaning services we provide, there are a few simple steps you can take to preserve your bedding and fine linens and towels

• First, always use protective coverings—and launder them regularly. This is the single most important thing you can do to protect your investment. Also let the down-filled or synthetic filled item air out occasionally on a clothesline or simply by opening the windows.
• To re-fluff and refresh your pillows, put them in the dryer on air cycle for a few minutes. Always check the Scandia Down ® tag for product-specific care information—and please call us if you have any questions or concerns. We are always at your service.
• For care of our linens and towels, we advise that you machine wash these items on gentle cycle using mild detergent, cold or warm water, low heat dryer. Be sure to wash all colors separately. No bleach or spot cleaning.
