Help with Sizing
The following information should be considered guidelines to sizes. Sizes can differ slightly from one manufacturer to another.
Mattress Sizing
The following are generally considered standard Mattress Sizes:
- Twin- 39'' wide x 75'' long
- XL Twin- 39'' wide x 80'' long
- Full- 54'' wide x 75'' long
- Queen- 60'' wide x 80'' long
- King- 76'' wide x 80'' long
- Cal-King- 72'' wide x 84'' long
*To measure for the pocket depth for your fitted sheet measure from the top seam of your mattress to the bottom seam along the corner. This will give you your gusset or pocket measurement.
Comforter Sizing
The following are sizes for most comforters:
- Twin- 71'' wide x 86'' long
- Full- 82'' wide x 86'' long
- Queen- 90'' wide x 94'' long
- King- 108'' wide x 94'' long
- Luxury Queen- 102'' wide x 102'' long
- Luxury King- 116'' wide x 102'' long
*There is NO such thing as a Cal-King Duvet Cover. We can, however, custom order a comforter and duvet cover in a specific size.
*Duvet Cover sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. To make sure that a Queen or King Duvet Cover is completely full, may we suggest using the Luxury Queen or Luxury King Comforter to fill it out.
Sheet Sizing
The following are sizes for most flat sheeting:
- Twin- 73'' wide x 100'' long
- Full/Queen- 92'' wide x 104'' long
- King- 106'' wide x 110'' long
*The King Flat Sheet can be used for a Cal-King Flat Sheet. The only items that will have different sizing on a Cal-King Bed are the Fitted Sheet and the Dust Ruffle. Custom Sizing is available on some items, be sure to contact a Scandia Down Design Consultant for more information.
Pillow Sizing
The following are sizes for most pillows:
- Standard- 20'' wide x 26'' long
- Queen- 20'' wide x 30'' long
- King- 20'' wide x 36'' long
- European- 26'' wide x 26'' long
- Boudoir- 12'' wide x 16'' long
- Pillow Case Sizing:
- Standard- 21'' wide x 32'' long
- Queen- 21'' wide x 36'' long
- King- 21'' wide x 42'' long
